Accessibility From the South highway A27 Belluno, then take state road 51 Alemagna , after take state road 203 . From the North state road 48 Dolomite, then take state road 203 Agordina; or as an alternative take highway A22 Brennero up until Ora, then state road 346 Passo S. Pellegrino, then state road 203 Agordina. The closest train station is located in Belluno (38 Km).

Historical information The first residents moved to this little town in the beginning of 1100. The life and the development of the town were connected to the mining activities in the Imperina valley, an activity that lasted for over five centuries. With the decreased production of minerals, this town knew well the plague of emigration because the number of workers needed here were in fact, fewer. The workers of this town took around the world their ability as miners and as wood workers. They were especially adept in making wicker chairs (called "careghete"). The parish dedicated to S. Floriano was built on a project designed by the architect G. Segusini, and it houses the wooden statue of S. Antonio made by the sculptor Valentino Pancera Besarel and the Pala of S. Barbara designed by Achille Beltrame.

Useful information Housing: it has a one-star hotel and many private apartments for a total of about 100 beds, and a youth hostel in Le Miniere. In the center of the town there is a handcraft shop were it is possible to find wicker and wood products and beautiful wicker chairs made in the traditional method of the "careghete". Sports facilities: football field, tennis and basketball courts.
