B&B Alla Stanga

The B & B alla Stanga is located in Sedico, along the road that leads to Agordo, right in the middle of Val Cordevole, in the heart of the   Dolomites Bellunesi National Park.
The Bed and Breakfast is characterized by the historic environments, recently renovated while respecting the originality of the premises. It consists of elegantly furnished rooms, each of which recalls the name of a mountain overlooked by the windows. The frescoes and the beds, dating back to the beginning of the 1800s, make the rooms special which also have a television, private bathroom and sauna service upon request.
Guests can enjoy an Italian breakfast with products, such as homemade jams, bread, cakes, brioches and homemade pies.

The restaurant has a long culinary tradition that has made it well-known over time, especially for the quality of the ingredients. The kitchen also offers dishes for celiac.

Activities and routes

The owners are guides of the national mountaineering bike academy and can advise guests on various trips and various trails, both by bike and on foot.
In particular, starting from the Bed & Breakfast Alla Stanga you can go along some natural-historical paths, among which are the Bianchet lodge and Mount Celo, in the group of mountains of the Schiara, at 1250 meters above sea level, the Val de Piero and Forcella Oderz, passing under the wall of the Burel, the defence system of "I Castei" that is part of the military trails.

A ten minute walk from the Bed & Breakfast you can reach the picturesque Prince Umberto Waterfall, in Val of Piero: a unique show, through an exploratory experience for everyone.

The Prati of Salet and Mount Coro are located in the centre of the Sedico valley, perfectly mowed and maintained, delimited by evocative groves, with the imposing backdrop of the mountain, and constituting a not too difficult destination to reach.

The entire Dolomite Bellunesi National Park is full of military trails leading to forts or huts and bivouacs, while in the Imperina Valley you have the opportunity to visit the old mines for the extraction of metals, such as copper and silver, of which the existence is confirmed starting from the 15th century. There are 16 buildings that can be visited, some perfectly recovered, dating back to pre-industrial and industrial times, with a very high historical and testimonial value, including warehouses, melting furnaces, the power plant, the stables, the bunker, the powder magazine, the villa of the director, the "hospital", the blacksmith’s forge, the washing-crushing and mineral processing plant.
