The ancient Fursil mines

The ancient Fursil mines and the sacred places of World War I will be the privileged destinations of the summer in the town of Colle Santa Lucia. Tourists can discovery the small village visiting the Ladin Institute “Cesa de Jan” and stopping to taste some typical products.

Here are some proposals but the tourist, for example, can visit the ancient shop of the shoemaker, where today is possible to see how this work was done with machinery over a century old. Or they can buy excellent local cheeses and honey in ancient deli shops. Work before pleasure, of course. There are many places where you can enjoy an aperitif while admiring a breathtaking view, as well as restaurants that offer not only a typical meal but also gourmet cuisine.

At the end, do not miss a break to admire Giau pass, one of the most popular alpine passes in the Dolomites. Fantastic for hikers, mountaineers, cyclists, motorcyclists and even photographers.
