Dairy museum in Canale d'Agordo

This museum was built at the former dairy of Canale d'Agordo with the intent to show with an educational approach the important fact dairy that has characterized the whole province of Belluno and particularly the Agordino area.

The dairy of Canale d'Agordo, in the hamlet of Feder, is particularly significant because it is the first example of social dairy in Italy, founded in 1872 by Don Antonio Della Lucia.

Within the former restored dairy farm there are the tools once used for the processing of milk and the production of dairy products typical of this area.
