Situated at the south-western entry of the province of Belluno, Lake Corlo is formed by the artificial barrier of the Cismon stream.
The lake, with its elongated and irregular shape, lies south-east to Arsiè, as far as Rocca, a little village that in 1954 has been almost completely flooded by the construction of the dam. Opposite Rocca, you can walk or ride along a dirt road that crosses two wonderful coves in the sedimentary rock and cross a bridge suspended on steel cables.
Lake Corlo is the ideal destination for those who want to enjoy a relaxing holiday immersed in a pristine nature. Its banks are perfect for quiet walks and mountain bike rides also for families. The lake is loved especially by fishers and is perfect for peaceful boat, kayak, canoe or paddle boat rides.
The surface of the lake is 2,450 square kilometres at an altitude of 300 m, while the deepest point of the basin is 68 m.
You can reach Lake Corlo from Feltre, following the signposts for Arsiè.
