Arabba (archivio Arabba Fodom Turismo)

Pristine snow on perfectly groomed slopes, blue skies, clean air and sun practically all year round, ultra-modern lifts that take you to some of the most beautiful and panoramic spots in the whole ski area and, last but not least, lots of fun and unforgettable experiences.

This is Arabba, a resort in the Fodom Valley and the Arabba-Marmolada ski district, part of the famous Dolomiti Superski area. “The place to ski” couldn’t be truer. Because in Arabba you really can ski - for the whole season, from start to finish. It is the ideal place to take time out from your hectic schedule and try some stunning slopes, exhilarating runs that start at over 2500 metres in altitude. It is a real paradise for skiers but also offers plenty for those who don’t ski, like the unique, spectacular views of the Sella massif and the Marmolada glacier.

Arabba has its fair share of long and technical slopes; the black runs you won’t want to miss out on are Fodoma, Ornella, Sourasass and Burz, the first three of which are north-facing from start to finish, with sections with gradients of over 70%. There are also plenty of red and blue slopes, which are just as much fun and offer some breath-taking views on the way down.

The ski area is equipped with modern lifts and boasts differences in altitude of over 800 metres: from Arabba lying at 1602 metres, you can climb to 2239 metres to the Pordoi Pass, taking in Porta Vescovo (2478 metres), Bec de Roces (2160 metres) and Cherz (2088 metres). Wherever you go, you are surrounded by some of the finest scenery, which is also home to two of the most famous and spectacular ski circuits in all the Alps: the Great War ski tour, which runs along the front where the Austrian and German Kaiserjäger regiments fought the Italian Alpini troops in the Great War, and Sellaronda, the famous “Tour of the four passes”, not to be missed by ski-in ski-out lovers.
